2022 Ceremony Information

Light Up A Life ceremonies will be in person this year. Ceremony dates, times and locations are listed below.

Bakersfield – Wednesday, December 7th at Bakersfield KOA Journey RV Resort, 5025 Wible Road, 6pm

Fresno/Madera Counties – Thursday, December 8th at the Campus Point Shopping Center, 5050 North Chestnut Avenue, in Fresno, 6pm

Kern River Valley – Tuesday, December 13th at Kernville Circle Park, 5:30pm

Tehachapi – Wednesday, December 14th at Wood Family Funeral Home, 321 West F Street, 5:30pm

Tulare/Kings Counties – Tuesday, December 6th at Cafe 210, 210 Center Avenue in Visalia , 6pm

Each year Bristol Hospice Foundation of CA hosts several local remembrance celebrations throughout California during the month of December and invites the community to sponsor a light on our Tree of Life memory of a loved one or to honor someone living. All proceeds from light donations help provide hospice services in your local community.

The celebration includes a personal reflection by a family whose used hospice services for a loved one, the reading of the memorial names by hospice team members & volunteers, inspirational music, and the lighting of our Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is adorned with ornaments representing a light in memory of loved ones and friends. Candle lightings take place at all outdoor events.

The Celebration is free to attend and open to everyone, not just those touched by hospice care. For a suggested $10 donation an ornament with your loved ones name will be placed on our Tree of Live and if received prior to the event date their name will be read during the Celebration. A donation form can be printed by opening the attachment below.

The Foundation would like thank our sponsors, donors, attendees, staff and volunteers who support our Light Up A Life events. Bristol Hospice provides bereavement services in all of our communities at no cost. If you are in need of assistance please contact your local office for more information.
